I have purchased some products wholesale that do not come with their own Barcodes. I realize that I must pay for my unique UPC codes for each unique product.

These products are not exclusively available for you to sell and that means that there will be other sellers trying to sell the exact same item. That means that you will be essentially selling a new product with your own brand and packaging, which you established at your own cost against other brands and packaged items that have already established their brand and their sale of those same products. Today, Amazon has not taken much action for merging these products, but I MHO expect that at some point in the future, Amazon will do just that.

They will merge all of the items, regardless of the associated UPC into a single master product where all Construction Company In Baguio City for those items will need to compete together.

I have requested similar merges for products that did have a manufacturer barcode on the packaging, but some competitors decided to put their own barcode on top of the manufacturer barcode and to sell those on their own. There is nothing to stop the original manufacturer from deciding to package and brand those products and do the same thing AND they usually Company Prefix Upc own the patent. Is this is even necessary?? No wonder Amazon insists that we follow these guidelines???

I suggest that you think through what your end game is. I currently have about active SKUs out of a catalog of over 14, As I discontinue products, I keep at that kind of level of working set. I only purchase manufactured Company Prefix Upc WITH barcodes from reputable brands with a strong distribution network avoiding some of the problems I mentioned earller. At this time, many are purchasing a batch of legacy UPC numbers from those who were grandfathered in to the process. If you do not have any stake in the game with the products you are selling such as you invented, designed, etc.

For products that might have a life of months rather than years, it is less important. Also consider the Brand Registry and Private label exemption.
