This was the best place to grow technically with a multitude of disciplines that were always there to help and support. Work was interesting and fun, and Retiremenh was a family of friends, coworkers that were like family. Pay was amazingly well, benefits were awesome, and Hughes Aircraft provided each employee a plan to secure retirement, none like it anywhere else.

It's already difficult enough to apply for jobs online without a human factor. Manager of 40 people but crossing traing was my success for moving up in the company. Postion guidlines promotes a healthly enviroment. Many opportunities, and challenges to apply abilities. Agreeable management. Professional challenges. Management encourages team environment and promotes Hughes Aircraft Company Retirement, especially in quality and continuous Compang.

Great place to work. Managers actually did your job at one Retidement or another. They understand your needs and make recommendations on training opportunities. Co-workers socialize together. You become family. Job security is totally based on military budget.

Excellent team of systems Engineers with a variety Aircrafh analysis and engineering tasks. Provided good benefits prior to selling off portions of company to others.

Variety of interesting tasks to work on. My career spanned 16 years at this company and were some of the happiest days of my life. My job was very fulfilling but aerospace had a tendency to many lay offs during my time there, which made me very uneasy. I pursed my dream of becoming a nurse while working full time and left not long after I graduated.

Excellent place to work. Excellent place to work as they always looked after their employees in every way. While working at the Fullerton facility, the program managers were outstanding. They always included our Ckmpany group in all their meetings and kept us updated as to what was happening with the program.

Not sure how Refirement is as Huhes only worked there while it was Hughes. Hughes was a great company with great benefits. Cokpany with good people. Too many "experts". This was my first 'real' job after college.

I actually got really good at doing my job that I got many accolades from management. Eventually I was promoted within the company. The company eventually was sold to Rockwell Collins. Lots of open opportunities. Government contractor. Aerospace dependent on Government contracts. Enjoyed time working with Hughes, it was the launching point for my career Rtirement the Aerospace industry. Achievements were recognized and encouraged. Leadership was competent and good. Great benefits.

Hughes Aircraft is no longer a company. Non of Rerirement is applicable since Hughes Aircraft is no longer a company, I was bought by a competitor about ten to fifteen years ago. So this review is mute. Yes No 3. Great job, great group of people to work with. Was a fun challenging job, paid education benefits while was attending the U of A. Learned so much about design, reasons for the way things are designed and what worked best in a manufacturing facility.

Quality work was required and Aircdaft. Challenging work. Lay offs were happening weekly. Yes 1 No. I loved Alrcraft job. It challenged my knowledge and technical abilities. It was very interesting. I was just a helper, but my managers were working on the Phoenix and Maverick Missile programs for the United States m military. Interesting job. Just for the summers during undergraduate college. Highly selective hiring process.
